Terms and Conditions for the Medieval Empires Creator Program

By participating in the Medieval Empires Creator Program, you agree to these terms and conditions. These govern your participation as a content creator and outline the rights, responsibilities, and commitments of both parties.
1. Programme Overview:
1.1. Purpose: The Medieval Empires Creator Program is designed to engage creators in promoting the game and the $MEE ecosystem through high-quality, original content.
1.2. Content Scope: Accepted content includes, but is not limited to:
- Gameplay showcases.
- Technical analysis of the game or $MEE.
- Creative, fun, or humorous content related to Medieval Empires.
- Community-building initiatives and collaborations.
2. Commitments of the Creator:
2.1. Content Standards:
- All content must be original and reflective of the creator’s unique personality. Duplicated or plagiarized content is strictly prohibited.
- Creators must use resources from the official Media kit to ensure consistency and branding.
2.2. Prohibited Activities:
- No Financial Advice: Creators must not provide financial advice or predictions regarding the $MEE token or related assets.
- No Negative or Defamatory Content: Creators are prohibited from posting harmful, defamatory, or offensive content about Medieval Empires.
- No Spam or Misleading Information: Creators should prioritize quality over quantity and avoid spamming or posting misleading content.
2.3. Minimum Posting and Engagement:
- Creators must meet a minimum posting requirement as agreed upon joining the Medieval Empires community.
- Posts must achieve a reasonable level of reach and engagement as determined by Medieval Empires.
3. Token Rewards and Distribution:
3.1. Reward Structure: Token rewards are distributed on a pro-rata basis, depending on the number and quality of posts submitted within a month.
3.2. Bonus Rewards: Exceptional creators may receive additional rewards based on impressions, content quality, and overall impact.
3.3 Seasonal Rewards: The top 3 content creators of the first season will receive exclusive prizes and the chance to climb to a higher tier in the Creator Program. Performance will be evaluated based on impressions, quality of content, and overall impact. Spamming or low-quality content will result in disqualification.
- First Place: An Additional prize of Tier 1 Land and 30,000 $MEE tokens.
- Second Place: An Additional prize 20,000 $MEE tokens.
- Third Place: An Additional Prize 10,000 $MEE tokens.
3.4. Token Delivery: Rewards will be delivered to the wallet address provided by the creator, subject to fulfilment of their commitments.
3.5. Reward Adjustments: Medieval Empires reserves the right to adjust rewards for posts that fail to meet quality or engagement thresholds.
4. Intellectual Property and Licensing:
4.1. Limited License to Medieval Empires: Creators grant Medieval Empires a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, revocable license to use, reproduce, distribute, and display their content created under the programme for promotional and marketing purposes.
4.2. Limited License to Creators: Medieval Empires grants creators a limited, worldwide, revocable, royalty-free, and non-exclusive license to use Medieval Empires’ copyrights, patents, trademarks, business names, trade names, and materials solely for the purpose of creating and sharing content as part of this program.
4.3. Retention of Ownership: Creators retain ownership of their content, but the license granted to Medieval Empires under this agreement remains effective even after the creator’s participation in the program ends.
4.4. Intellectual Property Rights: Nothing in this Agreement will transfer or grant any of Medieval Empires’ intellectual property rights to the creator, other than the limited license outlined in clause 4.2.
4.5. Usage Standards: Creators must adhere to Medieval Empires’ branding and design guidelines when using official assets.
5. Compliance with GDPR and Data Protection:
5.1. Data Collection: Medieval Empires will collect personal data, including usernames, social media handles, and wallet addresses, for program administration and reward delivery.
5.2. Data Usage: All personal data will be processed in compliance with GDPR and used solely for the purposes of the programme.
5.3. Data Rights: Creators can request access, modification, or deletion of their personal data by contacting Medieval Empires.
5.4. Data Retention: Collected data will be retained only for the duration of the creator’s participation or as required for legal or administrative purposes.
6. Termination:
6.1. Termination by Medieval Empires:
- Creators who fail to meet posting requirements or achieve sufficient reach/engagement may be removed from the program and shall be notified via email.
- Posting prohibited content or violating the terms will result in immediate termination.
6.2. Termination Effects: Medieval Empires retains the right to continue using content created during the program under the granted license.
6.3. Voluntary Termination: Creators may terminate their participation at any time by notifying Medieval Empires in writing.
7. Community Conduct:
7.1. Collaboration: Creators are encouraged to team up with other creators and foster a positive community spirit.
7.2. Promotion of Community Standards: Creators must actively support and uphold Medieval Empires' values and community guidelines.
8. Liability and Indemnity:
8.1. No Guarantee of Results: Medieval Empires does not guarantee specific impressions, reach, or results from the Creator Program.
8.2. Indemnity: Creators agree to indemnify Medieval Empires against any claims arising from their content, including intellectual property disputes and third-party violations.
9. General Terms:
9.1. Amendments: Medieval Empires reserves the right to modify these terms with reasonable notice. Updated terms will apply to all ongoing and future engagements.
9.2. Severability: If any provision of these terms is deemed invalid, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.
10. Acceptance of Terms:
By participating in the Medieval Empires Creator Program, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
